Caris Ellen Dillwyn – heroine of Storm Warned. 19th century musician cursed to be a Grim. Wife of Liam.

Claire Emsley – nosy and unpleasant neighbor two doors down from Lissy’s house on campus

Collen Edwards—first person Caris Dillwyn kissed at age 10 in the market

Conall Cole – Liam’s uncle and husband of Ruby

Dafydd Dillwyn – Caris’s dad (“da” in Welsh), a widower who drinks too much. When sober, he is very strict about the rules of the church.

Enid—Caris Dillwyn’s cousin and childhood playmate, lived two farms over

Fox Santiago-Callahan – Lissy’s nine-year-old son. Bright, talented, and big-hearted, he struggles with Asperger’s Syndrome.

George Santiago-Callahan – Lissy’s twin brother. Successful graphic artist, with a comic book series titled Davina of Hades. Accomplished in martial arts, and has competed in Mixed Martial Arts fighting. Close friends with Brooke.

Guillermo – friend of Olivia. Vincente is his son.

Gwen – a tall, older woman with white hair and glasses who befriends Morgan while she’s traveling in Wales. 

Hanson – veteran campus police officer

Jack Callahan – Lissy and George’s Irish father. He was a respected teacher, married to Olivia Santiago-Callahan. Deceased.

Jade Marshall Cole – Liam’s former wife whom he had loved since middle school. They started dating exclusively when she was 14 and he was 16

Jay Browning – veterinarian, and friend of Morgan Edwards. He’s a partner in her clinic.

Katie – part of a circle of longtime friends that includes Sharon, Brooke, Tina, Lissy, and Morgan.

Kynan Jones – a local farrier in Caris’ home town of Beddgelert, Wales

Leo Waterson – an elderly Marine Corp veteran who befriended both Rhys and Ranyon. Ranyon has elected to live with Leo ever since. Leo is the owner of a cranky old terrier named Spike. Leo is an avid fan of a major league baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays, and passed that on to Ranyon.
